The Jingshi Academy offers a Master Program in “Global Development and Governance” and a specialized Ph.D. Program in Nishan Confucian Studies. The Global Development and Governance program will equip students for careers as leaders in national and global development as practitioners, researchers, or scholars. Students will engage creatively with the great challenges confronting national and global policy makers, drawing insights from the latest theoretical ideas and empirical evidence from multiple disciplines. With a “Research Institute + Academy” teaching model, they will acquire skills in cross-cultural communication and learning, and from interaction with the Institute of Chinese Culture, an understanding of strands of Chinese thinking and innovation.
