The Jingshi Academy is a newly established institution for interdisciplinary education and research at Beijing Normal University, aims to be a platform for cooperation among disciplines, a venue for people to people exchanges, and a cradle for future world leaders. It focuses on the nexus of “Development-Governance-Culture” in global context, and conducts interdisciplinary academic research; based on “Global Development and Governance”, it cultivates the future leaders with global competence; and contributes to the international communication of Chinese culture, attracting young people from all over the world for in-depth understanding of China.
