The architecture is embedded in a beautiful garden and reflecting lake in the style of Chinese imperial gardens, both formal and elegant. Today, it is a key national cultural heritage site, possessing significant artistic and historical value.

The principal academic building, still standing, was designed by Belgian architect Dom Adelbert Gresnigt, and was once acclaimed as one of the "three grandeur buildings in Beiping". It presents a remarkable fusion of Chinese and Western architectural styles, art and culture.

The Xicheng Campus covers an area of 41,000 square meters, featuring historic and beautifully landscaped gardens and academic buildings, as well as dedicated spaces for student accommodations and activities.
